Being a family with a true entrepreneurial spirit who believe in a healthy lifestyle and eating organic foods led us on this quest to start an organic beef company.
Behind Tru Organic
Zeke Carney has been around cattle most of his life, growing up in small-town Wisconsin. His passion lies in farming and now, with the help of his family, he has launched Tru Organic with his two uncles: Max and Dan Carney. The Carney family firmly believes in providing the highest quality beef possible and strive to do this every day on their family-based farm.
What sets Tru Organic beef apart from the rest is the fat rich, balanced diet of organic grasses and grains we provide. This process begins at birth as we allow mother cows to nurse for up to 8 months. Our valley rich farmland allows for the finest crops and pastures for our herds health. Our family’s hard work ethic and love for what we do is reflected in our products. Based upon our higher standards, we have faith that Tru Organic is the best beef out there.
Our Farm
In 2016, a lifelong dream came true when we were given the opportunity to purchase a farm in Readstown, WI. We knew the farm could be something great and with relentless work, we were able create something special and Tru Organics was born.
The cattle we raise are fed directly from the organic grains that we grow ourselves. Our cattle have direct access to pastures and shelter 365 days a year. We believe in the highest standards and being true stewards of the land and animals. The farm is ran by Zeke Carney and his wife Hannah along with their two young children.
Our Partnership
We are proud to be a member and partner of Organic Valley. They have been a leader in the Organic Field for the past 30 years and they also call the Kickapoo Valley home.

We are fully USDA certified and inspected by MOSA (Midwest Organic Services Association) a leader in the industry for over 20 years.
